Doughy Delicious Pizza














Super doughy homemade pizza. Use any toppings you like. It was even delicious reheated the next day!

Sauce Ingredients:

3 cups tomatoes > skinned > seeded

1 TBSP Kosher salt

1 TBSP Italian seasoning

2 TBSP olive oil

1 TSP sugar

pinch of red pepper flakes *optional

2 TBSP tomato paste

To Make The Sauce:

simmer for 20 minutes, use a potato masher to crush the tomatoes

add tomato paste to thicken

set aside

Dough Ingredients:

2-3 cups flour

1 package yeast

1 TSP salt

1 1/2 cups water

To Make Dough:

throw salt, yeast and 1 1/2 cups of flour into large bowl

add 1 1/2 cups hot water (120-130°) > beat with mixer for 2 minutes

add flour, 1/2 cup at a time > stir with wooden spoon until sticky dough forms

**don’t add too much flour

put sticky dough onto floured surface > kneed 10-20 times > add flour if too sticky > then form dough into a ball

• grease a large bowl > put dough ball in > cover > let rise for 1 hour in warm spot, should double in size

• Once doubled use knuckle to punch dough

• place dough onto floured surface > with rolling pin roll into desired size

To Make Pizza:

• preheat oven to 400°

• grease cookie or pizza sheet

• place dough onto sheet > press down until the sheet is covered in flat dough

• spread sauce onto dough

• use any topping you like

• bake 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown
